It was roomie's turn to get groceries yesterday and in celebration of her twenty-first birthday (which occurred over the weekend)and the fact she can have alcohol with her name on it in our dorm, she bought beer. In fact all she bought was cookies, matzas, ramen noodles, and beer. So I popped into shop on campus.
I reached for the door handle and some guy yelled, "NO!" and dashed forward to open it for me. I heard him tell his friend, "No lady should ever have to open a door for herself, if you can help it." It's nice to see there are still gentlemen.
I uploaded this for abysmal_seraph and figured everybody else would want to see it. It's John Barrowman on the Rossy Show (?) and is hilarious. Plus, he talks about his upcoming wedding which is always awesome.
Also, sign-ups for the kavtolanon Secret Santa is almost over. If you've being saying, "I'll get around to signing up," tomorrow at 10:00 p.m. EST is the deadline! I refuse to wait for you. :)
