Music Requests
I'm getting ready to go visit my parents for the weekend. Partially because I start doing back-to-school stuff next week and won't get to see them until late September/early October, and partially to see my mam's new Mid-Life Crisis Mobile! (She bought a 2010 [2011?] Chevy Camaro.) For the record, my da is the one who nicknamed it that. We're going to have to give one we can say in front of my mam, though.
Right, anyway, I was going through the stuff on my iPod and decided that I need new music. So this is a post to recommend stuff to me. What's your favourite song? What's something you can't get out of your head? What do you think I absolutely need to hear because I'll love it?
I'll listen to almost anything, but some of my favourites are The Dresden Dolls, Emilie Autumn, The Clash, Paramore, Joan Jett, Placebo, MC Lars, Jay-Z, etc. According to my last.fm station, I like odd time signatures and strong female vocals. And I speak English and French. But really I'm willing to try anything once, even if I don't speak the language.
