I haven't updated since Galway it seems. That was quite a while ago but I'll do my best to fill in gaps.
Interesting things that happened:
Ian's play- The Complete Works of Willm Shakspr, featuring Othello in rap form, Hamlet backwards and sped up, lots of cross-dressing, horribly bad scottish accents, and general oddness. Best line ever "How are you today?" "Not very good, I was raped and had my hands chopped off"
Tree climbing... Niall decided to show off his moves.
Watching Niall and Ian sitting around the back garden, serenely smoking pipes and talking about hunting. It was like being sucked into a time warp.
Walking hand in hand with Niall from the riverside to Tesco in the suburbs, backwards. This weirded out and confused many people.
Seeing 300... so so so very good! Embarassing that I liked it so much condsidering the ridiculous dialogue and lack of plot but I don't care.
Visitng Liz in UCG, and just generally hanging out with friends. Niall and Victoria and lovely people to spend time with, as is Ian. And they're all mad which helps.
Back to dublin...
Apologies for seemingly disappearing again, this is because people in work are on holidays so I stupidly enough volunteered to work extra weekend hours. So if you think I'm off having loads of fun with other people, I'm probably actually exlaining how to apply preparation H to old people or something.
But fun things have occurred too. I was at Crescendo Rising's gig in temple bar the other day. And they won the Battle of the Bands! So well done to them. I had to leave before they finished their set which was irritating but I'm certain it was amazingly good. Woodzy's granny was present again, I'm glad they won for her sake.
And after much deliberation I went to a masquerade ball on thursday. It was DLIADT's end of year formal socialising event type thing so Niall brought me along, with Sophia and Chris. It was pretty cool, I managed to pull off Doc Martens as formal footwear which I'm proud of. Thanks to Carly for loan of sexy mask! Go view the prettiness on my bebo.
And then last night I ended up in Kristin's house with many people, doing strange things to marshmallows, tortillas, guacamole and punch. Much fun was had by all, especially when the guys decided to go outside and lift up cars so we locked them out and made them strip to come in again. Most pathetically bad stripping I've ever seen. *sigh* whats a girl to do? It was pretty cool because it seemed about 90% of the people there were doing science in trinity which I'm probably doing after all, so I got to interrogate them about that. Oh my indecisiveness is getting ridiculous at this stage.
