Work shenanigans...
My new contract (signed last year, is meant to kick in on Monday) was discovered to have been misplaced yesterday. So have sent new copy off. If it gets lost again and the company travel insurance doesn't cover me next week and I contract a horrible tropical illness and die i will KICK ASS!
Today, my new laptop (ordered last week, confirmed as being deliverable by early this week) was missing in action. But I just confirmed where it is (after only 4 phone calls) and am picking it up tomorrow (rather than risking a courier who would undoubtedly deliver it to the wrong place) so I have at least a couple of days to set it up and install software and transfer files before Vanuatu on Monday...
