Thanks to
nyeve for blogging fodder.  Some debatable items of course (is a bit American)... [my notes in brackets]

The Omnivore's Hundred:
"Below is a list of 100 things that I think every good omnivore should have tried at least once in their life. The list includes fine food, strange food, everyday food and even some pretty bad food - but a good omnivore should really try it all.
...
Bold all the items you’ve eaten.
Cross out any items that you would never consider eating.
Etc.
[adding * to ones I quite want to try]

[I'm dubious about including the "brand name" type foods - not just McD and Krispy Kreme, but also Kobe and Criolla and Blue Mountain...they're don't seem so much types of food as ...I dunno, subjective judgment about better subcategories of that food... or am I being anti-elitist?]

[Also - haven't crossed anything out as a "Won't Try", but don't really feel the need to try fugu or road-kill...]
