Stuff.

Had an EXCELLENT dinner with CIG, Wednesday night at Movida, a tapas bar in the city.  Ate my ration of flesh for a couple of weeks at least - not that much in volume really, but it just seemed to be the central focus of each dish (except dessert).  Their famed air-cured wagyu beef (paper thin slices) with potato foam and poached egg really was rather nice.  Also had delicious rabbit and truffle empanadillas and chicken braised in cider.  Oh, also had a slice of really good cheese with quince paste1.  And dessert was a chestnut and apple cake with a coffee flavoured ice-cream which had a fancy name.  All accompanied by a really good Rioja Tempranillo (CIG into his Riojas) but can't remember the winery...

Had an EXCELLENT dance last Friday at a gig put on by crew who put on good parties at a venue we hadn't been to before.  Bumped into a guy I've met at a couple of warehouse parties, who told me about another warehouse party (put on by same people who did this one2) at the end of the month, which I'm keen to go to.  Should be good.

1I usually find quince paste overpowering and too sweet, but Movida's is pretty good and mild somehow...
2Second last paragraph...

dancing, parties, restaurant, food
