OK, people - it's maybe not likely that you'll ever find yourself in Bordentown, New Jersey, but then again, someday you might. If that day comes, you ought to stop and chow down a little, because Marcello's Restaurant and Pizzeria (website's down; they're at 206 Farnsworth Avenue, anyhow) makes maybe the best Pizza Margherita I have ever had. Period. I even gave my last piece the eat-it-on-a-full-stomach test. Holy GOD. Just the most flavorful slice of pie...not overwhelming and assaultive like yer commercial pizzarias, really tender NY-style crust, basil so sweet you wanna make oil infusions from it...anybody who roadtrips in this region, check out this pizza and see if you don't agree with me.
