[Kurt had teleported outside to take out the trash, only to be attracted to that strange and large tail. Curious, he proceeds near it to poke it with his own tail.]
[And once he does, the tail will lash back by whipping upward, alert. No one but her two best friends get to touch the tail, buddy. A voice rumbles from within the trash can.]
[She focuses her weight on an edge, causing the trash can to tip over in that direction and allowing Makoto to get her feet on the solid ground. Shrugging the upper half of her body out of the container, she unceremoniously dumps the trash can at her side.]
There. Pretty real, right?
[Then she gets a better look at the person she's speaking with.]
[Is that what the -- she whips her head around, catching a glimpse of the apex of a wing. Her tail shoots up as though it was electrocuted. She turns back to Kurt.]

Well you're a... squirrel. [Is that right?]

. . . that's right. And what are you supposed to be?

Supposed to be? [A freak. A monster. A demon.] It's ahh... complicated, yeah? But nevermind that, what are you doing in a trash can?

You tell me. More importantly, where is this?
[And why does everything hurt?]

It's called Luceti. Yeah, I know, you've never heard of it. It's nowhere near Kansas or wherever you're from. It's not even the same world.

[Took the words . . . questions right out of her mouth? Kind of.]
And how is that even possible? The idea of being in another world is pretty far-fetched, you should know.

What am I supposed to be, a flying squirrel?
Those don't have wings, either!

It's kind of the standard package here.

All right, just what exactly is going on here?
