Before I get to the verses, here are a few things you might want to know.
- I'm on Eastern Standard Time, and am mainly on in the afternoon/night.
- I don't do smut. I'm open to R rated sexual posts, but only with those I'm really comfortable with. I'm also not comfortable with any sort of abusive lines. Thanks, but I've had enough of that in my real life to go through it again in my fake life.
- When it comes to romance, I've only played Clark with Chloe, but I'm open about that sort of thing. For those, something would have to develop organically. For the record, I doubt my Clark would ever be interested with a Lois, at least not the Smallville version. I have the same doubts about Lana. Basically, I would have to see how our characters interact before I even attempt to push a plot forward. Clark is a picky, picky thing.
Generic Verses
Verses with no specific binding muses.
Canon: For prompts. This is Clark as he appears in the show. When in canon will vary, which will be noted by the various canon tags.
AU: This applies to any of the in-show AUs, and any other AU situation that is not listed below. In-show AUs will have an additional tag. So far there have been 4 alternate universes in Smallville, but only two of them have their own Clark Kent: Lexmas and Noir. It's doubtful either will pop up often, but I thought it was good to note them, just in case.
Crossover: This applies to fic only, as fandoms cross often with muses. These crossovers will also be marked with an additional tag with the specific fandom (ex: [cross] supernatural). If the crossover is a rewrite of a specific episode in either fandom, it will also be marked with the AU tag.
Open: Just what it says. He'll be pretty canon, though I'm not quite sure how much of the current season I'm going to include. One thing is certain: he and Lana didn't get back together. Oh, and he's a virgin and plans on staying that way until he's married. I like my Clark just a little more conservative than the Smallville writers have made him.
Specific Verses
Time Lost: For
reporter_chloe, AU Season 8. Just as Chloe and Jimmy are in the process of having their marriage annulled, Chloe disappears and Clark searches high and low for her. She returns three days later with someone she calls "the Tenth Doctor," whatever that means. Needless to say, Clark is not happy. It happens again, for two days, and even though Clark gets a message this time, he hates how she keeps disappearing at the drop of a hat. After another week, the Doctor guy was back, and asked her to leave with him again, this time for much longer: 80 days. Clark begged her not to go, but in the end, but she said it was what she needed, and he grudgingly let her go. Not long after that, he and Lana rekindled their relationship. But after 80 days, Chloe was nowhere to be seen. He searched and searched for her, but didn't find her. After she'd been missing for a year, he realized just how much he missed her and wanted her in his life again. He ended it with Lana, who had seen this coming for months now. Eighty years later, Chloe reappears. Everyone else had given up hope, but Clark was still waiting. Somehow he knew in his heart that she would come back. He would very much like to knock the skinny little man who took the woman he loves away from him for so long across the room with a steel chair.
Roles Reversed: The Clark in this verse is a role-reversal with Chloe, which makes him Clark Sullivan, reporter boy but not alien guy. He is side-kick to an alien girl,
reporter_chloe's Super!Chloe. There are also a few other role reversals in this verse, including a Lex/Lana flip, Lucas/Lucy flip and a Lionel/Lillian flip. Most all other characters are gender-flipped, excepting some minor characters, parents of characters, and Oliver Queen, who was deemed too pretty a man to be made into a woman. Also the corresponding Black Canary. For now, this verse is Insanejournal only, but may make an appearance here and therefore is worth mentioning.
