Nothing works wonders for writing like suspended cellular service and spotty internet. I MEANT TO BE DONE WITH THIS A LONG TIME AGO. I AM KIND OF FILLED WITH TRIUMPH. PLS TO ENJOY. XD

I love this because of how tender and delicate it is, without being schmoopy or attempting to solve everything. Also, I loved the dialogue at the end the bestest ever.

That is maybe the best compliment I could have received on this story! I AM SO HAPPY YOU THOUGHT SO. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Also ICON LOVE. I just finished reading the Rescue bit! He needs to make her something shinier, dammit!

I totes want Tony to retire to stay at home with the babies and Rescue and War Machine can save the world instead.

I am totes doing Rescue fic for the Girl Saves Boy ficathon. It won't stop writing itself in my head!
TONY STAYING AT HOME WITH THE BABIES = WIN. Only I have the sneaking suspicion that childcare is completely beyond him. Pfft, engineer boys. I AM SO OVER THEM. Except for how I definitely need little curly-haired Stark babies that I can teach about trains and Brayton cycles I MEAN WHAT

(1) And possibly my favorite part of that scene which is the fact that Tony is trying to pour his heart out and ~emote~ and Pepper is all "yes, but anyway, GETTING BACK TO MY ROBOT SUIT...")
I have things to say about the Maria Hill storyline, but we're in polite company ;). She's an interesting character in other situations, but I have made my tiny fists of rage over her in IIM a couple times. Shoehorned-in love triangles are not my fave.
OMG THAT FICATHON IS THE BEST THING EVER Y/Y. One of my beta victims recipients was going to write for it, but I think has decided she's too busy. However I am totes mollified by the thought of RESCUE FIC AW YEAH. How exciting!
I suspect Tony would design some kind of robot nanny. HE HAS THE TECHNOLOGY.
