yutings!!! ahhhh i love the fic! it's amazing. <333 i did not see any of those twists coming even though i read the warnings at the beginning. -_- the capital killing their own people just to win the war. i was so shocked. i don't even undersand why they wouldn't just stop trying to invade the dragon territory. they'd rather kill everyone than just lose? like what did they even want. there's no way they could win. it's like the hunger games or something. O_O the government is so evil. i was so sad when yixing's sacrifice was revealed. but then SUHO WAS GOING TO DIE??? why didn't i see this coming? i mean how else were they going to solve poisoning. sigh. it was heart breaking i totally teared up. D: poor suho. poor jondae. how long were they going to keep this from everyone??? he even left without saying goodbye. TT_TT i was so sad. i just somehow hoped that he would live. but at least they were able to end the war. and they'll surely be able to meet again in the next life.
i have so many questions. how did the capitol lose power? did the people realize they were forced to fight a losing war? did they find out about the capitol's schemes??? were the 12 somehow able to get the humans and dragons to form a truce? and why didn't they tell the dragons their plans? so that they wouldn't have to fight both sides? and what started this war in the first place? human greed???

Umm!! Wow I left a lot of questions unanswered...but I'll try answer them for you now!! Basically, there was a lot of propaganda flying around in the country... so no one knew that they were fighting a losing battle because the number of casualties were never released and so people thought they most of the soldiers were still alive (which was obviously not the case) and that they just needed more boys to make the army stronger, not replenish it!!
SO!! When the soldiers went home after the war!! Everything came out because many of the soldiers had realized that they were fighting a losing war and eventually, the remaining members of the Twelve were able to get the news out (Joonmyun's father who was pretty devastated and remembered Sehun/Kyungsoo/Jongin/Baekhyun helped out a bit) and there was a rebellion among the people which led to the Capitol falling!!
Basically!! The men were blinded by their greed for more and more which was what lead to this whole conflict but!!! The dragons, when they found out about the plans of the Capitol to poison the land, were blinded by their anger and would have refused to cooperate with the Twelve so it would have been safer for them to at least still have that element of surprise on their side! The dragons are quite closed minded when it comes to anything that threatens their land!! (e.g human greed).
But eventually, I'd imagine, the dragons and the human would make true peace with each other but probably not this generation, but the next!!
