Parents and R-rated movies
So, today was the day :) We went to watch the so long waited for Immortals. Btw, the movie got a C- from the critics and that was another reason to go and check it out. And you know what? The movie was amazing so critics are deff overrated. But that wasnt the reason for this post. The reason was...
Once we entered the theater I thought it was the wrong one because the number of kids in there was as if we came to watch Puss in Boots or something. Yeah, so the first thing to do was to find seats as far from all of them as possible. And then it's struck me - the movie is way too violent for a kid to see! Hello, parents, what were you thinking??? And then, 5 minutes into the movie - Mommy, I'm scared! Oh yeah, you are! You are a kid watching a very gory and violent movie!!!
Well, all I wanna say is people, dont have kids if you are not ready to give up things for it or not capable of making right decisions like which movie is appropriate for your kid. Do our society a favour, will you?
