More Funky Eighties Choons
I am 36. I feel old.
Was offered the run of the AD again yesterday. Bloody blinding night, too - had a birthday party show up at 11-ish, and a pretty lively one at that, so started playing all the big tunes a lot earlier than usual... including Total Eclipse Of The Heart, for which I was soundly castigated by the latecomers. Well, tough luck. Get here early if you want to hear that one on my watch - I rarely play it at all, 'cos it's a six minute rock opera which is a bugger to mix into the rest of the set.
As usual, too many requests and not enough time, but I don't think there were too many requested songs I didn't fit in there somewhere. Am a bit gutted I didn't get to play G'n'R, though - I'd planned to lead up to my last song with it, but time ran out.

Am now going to bed, because I've been barely able to sleep since I returned (thank you Ben and Ginge for squabbling on my side of the duvet!)
