JungMin rested his shades atop his fluff of red hair as he stepped into the ritzy establishment. The bartender hardly noticed him when he took his seat. It seemed as though KiBum couldn't care less who was in NU'EAST, considering the absent expression he cleaned the already pristine glasses with.
"'Scuse me," JungMin said as politely as he could manage over the bar's choice in dubstep.
KiBum nearly dropped the glass he held, startled at the sound of someone's voice. "Yes? What can I get you?" he answered.
"Just a beer. Your choice. Preferably not light."
"Corona with lime, then?" KiBum gave his best "customer service" smile as he cracked open the bottle, serving the lime on a tiny plate and offering JungMin a salt shaker.
JungMin sipped the drink with caution. Glancing around, he took no notice of C.A.P. or L.Joe, but he kept a careful eye on the crowd in the bar. He saw Hoon in his periferal vision. Although it looked like he was in the no pain, JungMin knew HoonMin was a strong man and put up an even stronger front.
"Looking for someone?" A slick voice asked from behind. JungMin already knew who it was before he turned to face the older man. Of course, HyunJoong had to show up. He was likely there to make sure none of his precious boys were harmed in JungMin's explosive attempt at returning priceless information to Sherlock.
"Just looking, actually." HyunJoong sat beside him, nodding to KiBum who paid extra attention to the owner of Pledis. A fruity drink in a tall glass appeared in front of him, and JungMin raised a brow. "I've known you since childhood, and never once have you ordered a girly drink."
"For the occasion. Apparently, it's JR's birthday. Underage boys are bound to be crawling all over the place...possibly Mr. Leader himself, but it's doubtful. You picked the perfect day to join us, Mr. Park."
JungMin mulled over the information. He knew the leader's birthday had already passed, so what could HyunJoong possibly mean?
