KiSeop nearly ran SooHyun over when the man suddenly stopped in front of him. "Here?" he asked. SooHyun nodded carefully. "You checked it out already?"
"I checked it yesterday while you were sleeping. It seems like we'll have to stay on the east side for a while," SooHyun sighed. KiSeop slipped his arms around the man's waist, resting his cheek against SooHyun's shoulder. "Maybe someday, we can have a place of our own."
KiSeop smiled. It was nice thinking about the future, but with jobs as tight as they were, he doubted the small group would come into any amount of money anytime soon, especially on the east side of Infiniti.
SooHyun took KiSeop's hand and led him inseide, the remainder of the group following shortly after. The place was small, but there were two bedrooms, which was more than enough for the five of them.
KiSeop dropped his bag in one of the rooms and rolled out his sleeping bag. "Sleep first. I'll keep a watch." He placed a kiss on SooHyun's cheek, squeezed his hand, then planted himself outside the front door, watching and waiting for something to happen.
ChunJi came out an hour later, rubbing his eyes. "KiSeop?"
KiSeop looked up at the younger man. He was relatively new to the groupk, but he still had a soft spot in KiSeop's heart. "What's wrong, ChuJi?" he asked, patting the concrete next to him.
ChunJi plopped down and rested his head on KiSeop's shoulder. "I can't sleep. I'm tired, but I can't seem to fall asleep."
KiSeop draped an arm over the boy's shoulders. "Sometimes, that's just how it works. It's kind of why I took the first watch. I couldn't sleep, either." He felt ChunJi shiver beneath him, snuggling into KiSeop's heat. KiSeop glanced down at him, taking note of his bare feet. "Go get some shoes on. Grab a jacket, too. I'll still be here."
ChunJi simply shook his head. "I'm fine. It's not like I have either of those things, anyway."
KiSeop took his jacket off, wrapping it around the younger's shoulders. "I'm not letting you freeze. Remind me tomorrow, and I'll give you my extra pair of shoes. I can't believe I didn't notice until now. I'm sorry."
"It's fine. It doesn't bother me," ChunJi replied, once again, resting his head on KiSeop's shoulder. "It's not like I didn't live in an orphanage for a frew years."
"I still can't believe nobody wanted you. You're so cute!" KiSeop pinched his cheeks, laughing as ChunJi brushed him off.
"I was a brat. I have an attitude problem, and I hate being bossed around. Nobody wanted me because of that."
"Well, you're with us, now. Nobody will tell you what to do unless you ask for help. We'll take care of you, though. If nothing else, believe that."
"Thank you, KiSeop. I think I can sleep, now." The younger stood, stretching out. "And this is yours." He took the jacket off, passing it back to KiSeop.
"Before you sleep, could you wake up MinHo? It's his turn."
"I'll let him know."
"Thanks. Goodnight, ChunJi."
"Goodnight, KiSeop."
Not ten minutes later, MinHo was standing next to him, grumbling about beauty sleep. After turning over with the man, KiSeop crept into his room, crawled into his sleeping bag, and snuggled against SooHyun.
