Criterium #1
Thanks for all the kind words of congratulations! They mean a lot to me, and the excitement continues.
Today I rode my first Criterium. It was around the downtown blocks of Boise, in front of the capitol building. Not only did I win two "prime" laps, for a $10 a piece, but I got second place at the end. I am really happy about this! I learned something about crit racing with every lap- it was a great education- and I enjoyed the race dynamics a lot. I'll post some pictures when I get them off the camera.
It was especially fun to have a good weekend at the races because I won't see my bike for another 5 days, as we will be flying monday-friday. Hotel Workout Land, HERE I COME.
