It's been a while
So it's been a long while since my last real post. Work has picked up and should start kicking my butt soon, and I think I'm making strides with my boss. He's been telling me I'm doing a good job and that he is impressed with my work.
Role-playings been a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to some upcoming games (if I can sneak off work for them.) HOE has been very interesting and for those of you playing expect me to post something soon. Cam has kinda been on the back burner due to business and the issues I have getting into one of my characters.
I started my first Boffer LARP last weekend It's called Forest of Doors. I had an amazing time, the staff and players were friendly, the game was entertaining, and I really enjoy my character.
I've been working on a project that Three wonderful Girls and I started at Dragon Con two years ago. It's called Quest Givers, we have kinda turned the con into an MMO with xp and mounts and everything.
These last two items have created a funny little realization in my life. As I'm sure most of you know I have been single for a while now and kinda getting back into the swing of things. Well Dragon Con showed me just what I needed. I met three young ladies at the con (one of them will see this and know who she is,but I'm not naming names.)
The first was someone I had met a year or two ago at dragon, I thought she was very cute, pretty, and smart. We hung out some, but definitely not enough. I see her again this year and we hang out some talk a little and I'm reminded of how cool she is. Through the course of the con an old friend rats me out and informs the young lady of my thoughts. Come to find out a few days after the con, the lady in question thinks I'm sweet and cute. But she has a boyfriend and lives a few states away...
The Second is a young lady I met playing FoD (Forest of Doors) talk with her some and then find out she's married...
The Third I met at the con but didn't give much thought to till this past weekend at FoD. She plays a character of the same race and we hang out all weekend, flirt some and have a good time. Until Feast Friday night when she casually makes the comment "Yea, I hope my girlfriend can come play with us next month."
So in conclusion I have determinded things are looking up at work and If it wasn't for bad luck I would have no luck at all with the females of this species.
