Internet speed test
I just ran this Internet speed test on my wireless laptop at home with a good connection. Our home ISP ADSL plan has a download cap of 512k and and upload cap of 128k. It is probably worth again this again at another date and time.
Test Time: Fri Sep 30 2005 09:03:35 GMT+1000 (AUS Eastern Standard Time)
Download Stats Connection is 396 Kbps about 0.4 Mbps (tested with 386 kB)
Download Speed is 48 kB/s
Bottom Line: 7X faster than 56K 1MB download in 21.33 sec
And here are some more results but this time on my home desktop computer using the Oz broadband speed test.
