We have a delightful husband and wife cleaning team that do most of the cleaning around here; Helen and George. This morning I came in early enough to work to beat them to open the school. I sit now in the very late evening, waiting for my lift, trawling through my e-mail and watching them through the glass window of the general office. They are sitting on the chairs outside, sipping on a well earned cuppa tea at the end of the school day. It is easy to forget that they have the grotty job of picking the chewing-gum off the carpet, marks on the desk, tripping over chairs that were not put up by students at the end of the day and working in the freezing cold. I am glad that I had the chance to put a grin on their faces with some of the edited movies I made including the ACEC trip interstate. I tip me lid to ya both.
Here is an interesting little fund raising business that mnakes little calenders and guides based in cd-rom jewels. Cute idea and seems to be operated by two families in Canberra (I think).
