Apollo 11 Neil Armstrong in LM by
FlyingSinger It is interesting to track the 40th anniversary of the humans first setting foot on the Moon with the
NASA Apollo 11 mission that is being re-enacted in real time, delayed by 40 years, using
Twitter.
Whilst browsing an interesting podcast describing
why the astronauts could not sleep on the moon I bumped into this wikipedia page about
Jack Garman and the spacecraft
computer system error 1202 that nearly aborted the landing
It took some quick thinking by the support staff back on Earth to figure this out and again emphasises that like many missions before, this one was a team effort and win for the team.
