Peñafiel in Lomo AND Film by
Reven. Clutching some free tickets, I went to an Village Gold Class movie. I have never done this before and considering the expense, probably will not go again when a fraction of the price can buy me several movies with friends at a local cinema.
After being seated with my glass of wine, I spent a couple of minutes looking for buttons to press or levers to pull. Instead of loose change, I discovered that the crook of the chair was filled with complimentary crunchy popcorn that had not been properly cleaned out.
In the end I found a button to ask for help. A friendly somebody in a dark suit turned up and showed me how to find the one to recline the chair. My better half asked me to stop toying with that one button.
All up, the experience was rather like watching the TV at home, sitting in the bean bag. Perhaps with dozens of strange friends joining in and the family running back and forth to fetch drinks and nibblies. It was nice to have somebody deliver a pot of earl-grey tea for us to share and sip through half-way through the movie.
