Land Yachts 2008

Land Yachts is a great technology and eLearning project .. easy to manage and participate.  I met Marg on the ACCE sponsored study tour to NECC2008 in San Antonio and she is really keen to see a Victorian school step up and join the rest of Australia

What do you reckon folks? Does Victoria have enough technology wind to have a go with it. We still seem to have the wheels on our technology wagon. All we need are the teachers to back the project.

"I just wanted to draw your attention to the oz-Teachernet Land Yachts project which has just begun for 2008. It is a science-technology-ICT project which has won a Highly Commended award from ISTE as an innovative telecommunications project. Besides this, it is fun! In 2007, we had almost 500 children across Australia involved and as we begin the 2008 iteration (which runs until November 5), we have  13 schools from Queensland, NT, NSW, WA, Tas, and SA taking part. I am currently in Norway where we are running a similar project with children in 5 schools. Follow the links from

Cheers Marg Lloyd"
