Yesterday, Daniel and I finally got the AWS unit located on the roof of our school operational again and figured out how to get this web page back onto the Internet. Something is still wrong as only the indoor temperature and barometric pressure instruments are working. I suspect that we have to get back onto the roof and recheck the leads as the instrument package is probably not correctly plugged in or worse still, the connections are corroded.
If not the magpie on the tipping bucket rain gauge, or the caretaker breaking the glass on the weathercam housing, then the elements are working to gradually destroy our good work (sigh).
