Broken rust, wire and glass I was struck by a collection of different images in the country town of Ararat and took a happy collection of photographs that included buildings, flowers and vines.
The weather was warm and the home made pie in a corner shop delicious. Vines lined the walkway of street side shops and it was fun to window shop all the way down the main street.
The town of Ararat started shortly after a good boom that began in 1857. It is notable as the only town in Australia founded by Chinese immigrants.
