Easter ... what a beautiful day

This morning, I went to church with Patrick for the first time here in Auburn. It was pretty awesome ... I really liked the church he goes to and the people there. They were so friendly. That was the prettiest Church of Christ building I've ever seen. And, even though we got there a little late and sat in the back, they just read some passages from the Bible to tell us more about the holiday, so I could just read along. Didn't have to worry about listening to everything he was saying. But he had a great, great voice (the preacher) so when we go again, I'll be able to understand him. He was so sweet. It really was very nice. We were late to church because we got pulled over for doing 60 in a 45, BUT Patrick didn't get a ticket. So God definitely provided in every way possible today. (Also, I looked beautiful. Patrick looked handsome. It was great.)

Now, I'm enjoying watching "As Good as It Gets" with Nicholson. Man ... I love Jack Nicholson. Somehow, he's like 85, a misogynist, a hateful bigot, in love with a woman 30 years his junior ... and he's still just amazingly attractive. Must be the smile and the eyebrows. (Patrick has Nicholson eyebrows. Perhaps that's why I like him so much.)

Work ... not looking forward to it. Three hours of sitting there, writing stories and trying to get people to turn them in before 6 p.m. I swear, if people wait until 5:45 p.m. to turn their stories in, I WILL break out the "AMY SMASH!"

"Carol the waitress, Simon the fag." LOVE Nicholson. And this movie. I had forgotten how much I really do like it.

Grey's Anatomy tonight! And hanging out with my little sis! Sadly enough, I really miss her when she's not here. We've gotten to be really close this semester, and she'll be gone this summer. I'm gonna miss the crap out of her. OK, she's totally gonna read this and know I'm not a hard-ass anymore and that I wouldn't kill her even if I had the chance, so I'd better stop now.
