surprisingly enough ... it's good to be back
well, the week is over and i'm back here in the Plainsman office. it sort of feels like i never left and went to D.C. or went home for four days. it doesn't really feel like i spent the last nine days with patrick (without us killing each other -- major bonus points for us!) it doesn't really feel like i saw the most beautiful building of my life, the library of congress ... or that i bought $200 worth of crap. ah well -- i have the pictures to prove it happened (and to do my photojournalism project with). what a week it's been, and what a good time i've had. but sitting here in the office surrounded by my journalism peeps just reminds me of how lucky i really am to have these people and to have this town. i do love it here, even if i get fed up with it sometimes. tonight, i get to eat a healthy supper with jess and claborn, and then head back to the dorm for grey's anatomy and a movie with the bradley child and her little sis, amy. (there are so many of us around!) i'm looking forward to tonight, and i'm looking forward to finishing up these classes and getting that much closer to graduation. i loved being home and everything, but i guess it was time to come back to life as i know it. now all i have to do is see cliff, and i'll be complete again. :-) and all of my wonderful friends, of course ... i'm glad for this week because i'll probably get to see everyone again and it'll be another normal week in auburn. it's good to be back.
