Distracted!
Okay, for the record,....last night I was obviously keen to get home and enjoy a night in, seeing as I'm gonna be working late over the weekend.
Drove home, had dinner, chilled, etc, went to bed, slept very well! :-)
Woke this morning and got ready for work. It was raining....looked like it had been raining for ages.
Anyway, walked out my front door, turned to walk towards my car.....and noticed that my car window over the driver's seat was open!!!!!!!!!
In my head I'm like "Helloooooo???? what the? Did I honestly leave my car window open after I got home last night????? I'm such a muppet!"
Walks over to car, opens door and yes, my seat is soaked!! Laughs in disbelief, turns car on - closes window.
Ended up driving to work sitting on a towel and a large cushion....random.
And now, my shift is pretty much over. phew!
Off to the student meeting later, then home (aiming to remember to close the window this time!)
