We got our sign up sheets for next year. If I get all of the classes I want my schedule will look like this:
English 12 AP
Spanish III
Statistics
Biology II AP
Chemistry II
Physics
The only one I'm really iffy about is Bio II AP, because I went to go see Ms. Lynch today during guidance because I was really freaking out about that. See I was told that we were NOT going to have any AP science classes and that's why I went ahead and took Biology II. But I went and asked Ms. Lynch whether or not we were going to have it and she said that we will if enough students sign up for it. And I really want to take that class, because hi I'll probably major in either chemistry or biology in college, and you know because it's AP (possible college credit, up to a 6.0 factored into GPA). No, but I was freaking out because I'm taking Bio II right now and I thought that I wouldn't be able to take AP if I already took regular Bio II, but Ms. Lynch said I could.
But nobody wants to take it. Everyone I've asked so far is like "Ewww no why!?!? I'm taking calculus instead!" Hopefully others will sign up though. Take it. Please. I want my AP bio yall. And statistics, I'll just take that rather than calculus because I barely survived pre-cal. And then physics and chemistry II yay. Hopefully we'll have competent science teachers next year. Three sciences would be so cool. And then Spanish III. You may be thinking "you're so stupid, Jeremy, you're smart but not THAT smart. why are you taking all of those advanced classes?" Well, it's because 1) hopefully they'll help me get into UNC 2) I'm trying to climb back up the rank ladder that I've been falling down ever since my freshman year and 3) I think some of those classes will actually be interesting to me.
Yeah, so in rank, after last semester's slump, I'm now number 9. And Ms. Lynch said that people's ranks might actually go up because some reason or another. I think she said because there's people above me who basically don't deserve to be. Something about the classes they took and the classes I took. I'm not sure if I'm tied with anyone though. This means that if everyone's not tied with each other then I'll be a marshall at senior graduation.
