It is my pleasure to inform you that you have been accepted for admission to Dutchess Community College as a full-time student for the 2006 Fall Semester. Congradulations! We are looking forward to having you participate in our college community.
A counselor in the Admissions Office is currently reviewing your application. Beginning in the spring, we will invite applicants to DCC to take an acedemic placement test called COMPASS/ASSET. which will test reading, writing, and mathemetics. The results of the COMPASS/ASSET, along with your high school transcript, will allow us to help you in selecting courses for the fall. Also, please remember that your acceptance is contingent upon your receiving your high school diploma, GED or receiving a passing grade on our entrance test.
