The joy of a long weekend, today I actually got some things I'd needed done accomplished. I moved over 8 months ago and have not set up neither stereo, nor unpacked my CD's as I've been using iTunes or the iPod to listen. It's finally done; it's unpacked and set up!
I knew I had accumulated a lot of discs and had figured around 1,000 or so.
It's worse then I thought.
Actually, it's just about double that.
OMG..where the hell do I put these things? I've set up several holders and emptied ever possible nook and cranny for CD storage and it's still not enough. This is not amusing anymore, they've completely taken over my living room. I'm concerned they might start mating and I'll find teeny little micro discs in the morning.
At one point I was sitting in the living room and literally surrounded by a "wall of sound" and my son walked in. I bemoaned the vast size of my collection and lack of space to store it in. He grinned..."But ya still want more, don't cha?"
Can anyone recommend a truly space efficient way of storing as many CD's as possible?
