POSSESSIONS. A sporran, containing cigarettes, a hipflask with whisky, a Scottish dirk, and a kilt. 8) He's wearing it. Oh, yes, and a faerie which can only be seen by those who believe in them. She shines a gold light, and will be played occasionally by yours truly. Scotland casually talks to this faerie, and if your character doesn't believe in them, well. He'll just be talking to nothing, then.

MENTAL INFO. He's just a little bit off his rocker. Just a little. Besides that, Scotland has a hard time reading emotions or the atmosphere. Sometimes the things he says may be out of context. We'll just say he's socially inept in a way.
FOURTH-WALLING. I'm always open for fourth-walling anything ever if you are.
PHYSICAL CONTACT. There is more info on this in detail below, but for the most part, Scotland isn't very a touchy-feely person with strangers, and should actually be more affectionate towards his friends. As much as I don't mind physical contact with this character, you've been warned, I suppose. He has a tendency to get violent.
ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS. He's got none in the past, but he'll sleep around, sure. As far as romance goes, there's more detail below, but I'm fine with canon or cross-canon romantic relations. He swings both ways, but seems to have a preference towards women.

Backtagging: Sure, but I'm pretty bad with keeping up with it, sobbbb.
Fourth Wall Breaking: Yes, yes YES. SOB. I'm a whore for wall breaking-- do it if you think it'll be funny!
In Character:
Hugs?: You can try, but expect either a lot of grumbling or shoving away.
Kisses?: Women will get either scoffing and denial that he liked it. Men will get punched unless there's a lot of CR.
Flirting: Men will irritate him, but girls won't get much of a response back unless you're a cast mate or there has been CR.
Badtouches: Without his permission, you'll get a slap or punch unless he knows you, or you're an attractive woman.
Lovers: One sided crushes on your part are adorable, and he may like you back, but he'll forever be in denial of it. Cast mates are preferred for any type of relationship, but if your muse likes him, that's a-okay.
Fighting?: He likes fighting, so have at it. Just have a legit reason for attacking him. I'll be surprised if he doesn't initiate the fight and you do, though.
Killing?: Check with me first.
Make outs?: CR first and we'll go from there. He prefers women, but goes both ways like all my Nation muses. Men have to work a lot more for it. A loooooot more.
Is there anything you do not want mentioned near this character?: I'm fine with you discussing anything with him, but he may not. Any talk about England is ill recieved and result in an ill attitude. He's quite a tsundere with his relationship having to do with France, so it's best not to mention the broken Auld Alliance either.
ON THE SUBJECT OF SPEECH:
DAT ACCENT. I'm highly aware it's frustrating sometimes to understand what he's saying. However, I cannot simply stop typing the way I've researched and grown attached to his voice. If you are having difficulty understanding him and wish to understand him a bit more clearly, don't hesitate to comment here and I will tag you with hover text translation over either:
1. His entire sentence rewritten in normal English.
2. Just the slang and Gaelic (which realistically shouldn't be understood by your character unless they are Scottish or friends with Barclay. Anyway.) Which means words like "muckle" and "china" and "baltic". Not words like "hou" or "dae" or "dinnae", etc. These are called CLOSE COGNATES, and he speaks and types in some of these; it's out of habit for him, really because it's a traditional way of writing. There are a number of dialects in Scotland, and no standard spelling, so some expressions have more than one spelling or version. And he doesn't use much Gaelic anyway.
3. Just Gaelic when he rarely uses it. (Gaelic anyway will be translated if you are in his game because of the Babelfish.)
Also feel free to comment here if you do not want me to tag you at all and specify which characters I should avoid. I will not get offended! I would much rather have people inform me of this than getting them frustrating cause my character talks like there's a dick in his mouth.
ANYWAY.
I'm just going to say here that to me not being able to understand him sometimes or all the times seems realistic. I'm completely O.K with you teasing him about his way of speaking, especially if you are in his game. Don't ever feel like I personally am frustrated at him being taunted because I find it really amusing.
That all being said, comment here with your characters AND their usernames and what should be done should we ever tag because I'd hate to miss out on CR because he talks funny. You may also feel free to AIM me (wildfidgey) anytime you have insecurities about a sentence! Thank you!
