unexplicable baby interest
I don't know why, but I've been on a spree of researching births. I found the Madison Birth Center's website and became intrigued... all these somewhat gory stories about natural birth. but quite lovely at the same time. i read one after another, drinking a beer, sinking into the stories.
i was talking to Joe about how birth is such a dynamic, loud, memorable event. but really... it's just the begining. i would say parenting is one long, significant delivery into the world. birth is just coming out into it.
thought about my mom losing a baby, and then how she got two after that. God paid her back.
