Oh, I hope Laura and Lee continue to talk and grow closer again. They should learn from Bill and Saul. ♥

Ooh, I love the addition of the circle. Glad Tigh's not really involved in it in this 'verse.

Can't wait to see how Bill and Saul work through it.

I like that Bill eventually figures out that Saul might have gone to the flight deck. His incredulity at the idea of Saul running laps is great!

Yeah, I this idea that Bill knows Saul like the back of his hand even before they were together.

You do post-NC Saul so well--he's still traumatized but he knows how to cope with it. Love that they're (hopefully) going to be together. Poor Lee seems so dumbfounded (and guilty) by the pregnancy--but then, it's all new to him while Laura (and Saul) have had time to adjust. Laura and Lee talking about granddaddies Bill and Saul was great :-)

You did an awesome and subtle job of reminding readers of key parts that had come before, too. Very helpful and it just flowed into the present narrative. well-done!

I love the way you crafted this with Saul/Bill and Laura/Lee and the parallels between the way each couple takes care of one another. There's such a deep caring with Bill/Saul and Laura/Lee are making their way in a very realistic fashion that is true to both characters.

I adore pregnant Laura. We don't see it too often and I have to admit, it's really nice to read about her in a maternal kind of way. Wonderful work, as always.

So - a recent mention on astreamofstars journal brought me running here, and I'm glad I did! I haven't really been doing well on keeping up with fics or fandom, but I just finished reading what's up so far, and I really LOVE it. I love the closeness shared between Saul and Laura here, and I love the parallel exploration we get of the two ships as they are both in varying levels of re-familiarization going on post-NC. It's realistic that the long histories shared between Bill and Saul really eases them a bit more comfortably into the process, whereas Laura and Lee are still trying to find the proper stride. :)

Also, I'm rather intrigued to see where you take Laura as mother eventually - and I'm also interested to see if anything comes up from your pointed reference to Sharon, Hera, and Maya in the last chapter. :3
