Work was an orchestrated clusterfuck... we have a new Team Lead (read Assistant Manager) from the south of Massachusettes. A former Mass. native warned me the southern massholes are the worst. Yay. We also had the Bangor Team Lead down to help, as well. Eric, our Exec (Read manager) had the three of them helping me and Alice in the steel. Alice is usually a whiny, ignorant bitch, but she actually proved useful tonight. Anyway, we managed, in spite of the army of one-armed paper hangers in the backroom. Work seemed to fly by, as soon as I forced myself to focus on the task at hand instead of wishing I was elsewhere.

I went over to Amy's after work. She left her bedroom door open, so it wouldn't creak and wake her when I snuck in, but the idiot I am, I bumped it, and it creaked closed... everytime I tried to stop it. She woke up and we talked of going out to breakfast to some Fireman's Diner or something in Sanford, then fell asleep. She took off for work, and I stayed behind, as I was still wasted from work. It was kinda wierd. Her brother came over to do some laundry. I didn't see him, when I left about 7:30. I hope he didn't mind that I didn't look for him. I had to run home to get ready for work and didn't have time for a chat.

I mentioned plans for my coworkers to go to IHOP in the morning. Amy wants to go, and she and Riann would finally meet. I'm not looking forward to this, but it's inevitable. Hopefully it's not a completely uncomfortable situation for everybody. I think Amy'll be a hit with my friends, but I don't know what to expect from Riann.

Well, we'll see. Tomorrow's another day. Maybe I'll even get to try Amy's hot tub. In the meantime, time for a shower and a small truck at work. fun fun.
