Meet Ophelia.

I was eating lunch with a couple of co-workers yesterday at PJ Kelly's in Clarksburg when they spotted a stray kitten across the street next to the courthouse. She darted across the street amid gasps from people who feared she'd get run over on busy 3rd Street, which intersects with Main. She started down an alley that allows through traffic. I called to her, she came running, I picked her up and I brought her back to the restaurant with me. We were eating outside so the owners and staff had no problem with me bringing her over. I would take the rest of my lunch break trying to figure out what to do with her because I knew that if I left her, she'd likely get killed. Eventually, I decided to rescue her. Lucky for her, I was already planning to head back to Buckhannon to work from the office. She was well-behaved for the ride 35-45-minute ride. I took her home, cleaned out Mikey's kennel, made a bed for her and gave her food and water. When TJ saw her, he decided that we could keep her. We've named her Ophelia, and we're glad to have her.
