My best friend is 6'3", 183 lbs of pure awesome. We met each other 13 years ago. Almost nine years ago, we became inseparable. Despite the issues we had during our second and fifth years of our relationship, we still remained best friends and lovers. In 2009, after seven-and-a-half years together, I married my best friend. Many people say that their partners are their best friends, but that's really the way it should be. We can talk to each other for hours about culture, politics, spirituality, interests, etc., and it never becomes a chore. I couldn't imagine my life without him in it. To be without him would be the greatest loneliness I've ever known. Really, he's one of the few people I can stand to be around on a consistent basis and not want to punch in the face.
