Day 4: Your Music.
My music...well, I will take this two directions. I started playing music when I was eight. I started to learn the violin in 4th grade (yes, I was 8 at the beginning of 4th grade) and the clarinet in 5th grade. I played both instruments all through school, and I was quite good at both of them. I made it to the top of the clarinet section as a sophomore, and by senior year, I was second chair. I went to college with a $3,000 music scholarship I was rewarded through audition. I started college as a music education major, but quickly found out it was not all it was cracked up to be. It was after that that I switched to English, first as an education major, then as a literature major. I played in the local chamber orchestra while in college. I recently bought a new clarinet to replace mine and have begun to play both instruments on my own again. I have been propositioned many times to play my violin in various local music acts, but I haven't decided to do it definitively.
As far as listening to music is concerned, I would describe my tastes as...eclectic. I've been attempting to keep this list up to date over the years, but I'm sure I've forgotten someone along the way:
