I had a really rough day, filled with lost sleep and high emotion.
I went to Dr. Warner's visitation. It is still hard for me to believe that he's gone. I thought about him often, since he was such a good professor/friend and he was passionate about life, his work, his beliefs and his family. He lived a full, important life, but it still doesn't seem right to me. Black and orange tie, Bobcat colors, surrounded by his wife, child and grandchildren, nearby, a slide show from childhood forward. So much love for his family, beautiful images, his various degrees and awards scattered about the funeral home. The slide show on a laptop seemed so fitting to me. He was always showing us images of his family/many travels/teaching material via slide show. It was as though he planned it that way.

I have almost hitting my breaking point, as far as stress is concerned. I have had to sacrifice so much sleep to busy work/responsibilities this week that it is sickening. I got to take a nap, which was a great relief, but understand how bad it has been. My mind has been playing tricks on me, I'm paranoid and anxious, I immediately jump into dream state when I sleep and I've felt physically run down. Hopefully, the week will end better.
