...and the Woodsman savedddd Little Red from the Big Bad Wolf [see basket -- that is actually a coyote pelt that TJ's dad made.] Yes, TJ has lost 60 lbs this year.
TJ and I went to Allburghers Friday night for their Halloween party after taking our little Batman trick-or-treating. Present were the usual suspects : Elaine, Cade and Jess. We ran into a ton of people, including my dad, who was playing music that night, and finished out the evening at Ledbetters, which just recently re-opened.
There are more pictures under the cut, including a few that were not posted on MySpace or Facebook.
This is my best girl Cadey. She is very popular and is rumored to be dating the quarterback. She let me do her makeup.
This is Cadey's best girl Jess. Mexicans like her.
All three of us look goo! Elaine was a beer wench, dontchaknow?
Seeeee?
Cadey was feeling frisky.
Maybe a little too frisky.
END.
It was definitely an interesting night, to say the least. Everyone was druuuunk but TJ. We got pulled over, but it was OK because the guy went to high school with TJ.
There are some other things going on right now -- some bad, some good, all transitional. We have more rooms set up in our new house. TJ, Trenton and I have been spending our evenings in our nearly finished living room. TJ and I even went out after Trenton was sleeping and christened the new living room. ;)
Trenton acts so much better when he's out there. I will be glad when we can move out for real because much of his bad behavior is the product of my in-laws.
I continue to feel better as the days pass.
TJ is back to work now, which should help relieve some of the stress he is under. Unfortunately, his vehicle was damaged by a piece of farm equipment his parents left laying around. He did not back into it; the corner was sticking out and crushed in his door. He was not happy.
We have been having some heated conversations the past couple of days, but they are conversations we both need to have. I think that, in the end, a lot of insight will be gained. It is a little like getting to know each other all over again.
Tomorrow, I have to go get some bills paid with TJ in the afternoon. I will undoubtedly be exhausted by the end of it, as I am already terribly screwed up by Daylight Savings Time. Tuesday night, spa party with my step-mom and Bobbi. This week should go fast, I hope.
Two more things:
-- Four more days until Leila will be here.
-- It was been 10 weeks since I quit smoking.
