"There's several ways we could go about this then. This Nexus...it is a large place. I would think a single Ganado could go largly unnoticed. And seeing that we once had what would seem a large group of them to wind up in there and simply being regarded as comical bunglers...

"If planting someone isn't an option, then what of the idea of information-gathering through a resident of this Nexus itself? Find one...or two...or three and...persuade them to come back here. Then infect them and pick their thoughts for valuable information. This could also be an easy means to get other tools, such as one of these PINpoints you sought, my lord.
"In fact, I would be more than happy to personally spearhead these efforts." There is no love lost between Mendez and the Nexus, after all. And since he still remembers where Salazar's personal portal is at...

"Salazar is not a traitor. Yet. You forget, I have access to his mind. He is merely lacking in confidence. He has been tainted by the Nexus. Crippled by foolish ideas." He snorts.
"This is partially the reason for the change of course. There is no threat of Salazar leaking information to his unworthy companions in the Nexus if he is not privy to our new plans." He clacks his long nails against the surface of the alter as he pauses to think.
"And since you express such enthusiasm, I will leave Nexus reconnaissance in your hands. Begin with a Ganado agent, and should that fail, see if you can't find some Nexusites that will be loyal to our cause...perhaps serve as informants. Our priorities are acquiring a PINpoint, and the locations of several possible dimensions in which we might establish ourselves."
