christmas break 2006 was busy.
for driving, i went with the family to the biltmore in north carolina and rode out to winder a few times. i got to see johnny (and *still* need to send him his christmas card). got some paintings done. went to fayetteville to see what happens in and around an ad agency. read up on 50's culture. did some extensive ebaying without purchasing anything. both my mom and dad's sides of the family came to our house for christmas. christmas was pretty good; some of the stuffs i got were an art deco dresser with a round mirror(they think from the 40's), a louise brooks biography, clothes, gift certificates, a jack sparrow blanket, marie antoinette action figure, stripey thigh his, and a calendar with a different gil elvgren pinup girl every week. also my dad, sister, and i (not my mom)got a mysterious stomach bug christmas night. that was a nasty 24 hours. andrew and stephanie came to visit (stephanie made one tasty cake). i went to a wedding for two of hayley's friends who moved to paris when it was over. hayley did some extensive prom dress research. i spent a non alcoholic new years eve with jeremy. i hung out with april, rachel, madelynn and ian today for april's birthday, and tomorrow i'm going to milledgeville to feed/visit little duke because he needs kitty food. :] i think it's safe to take down the christmas tree now.
usually around this time i look forward to going back to school, but it isn't on top of the excitement list.
a few things have been gradually changing. definitely not bad things; just kind of confusing and with odd timing.
