I've spent the last few weeks attempting to make the dorkiest costume in the world. This weekend I shall know if I succeeded or not. I've got to be close the to record though. Hopefully Tangeriner will take lots of pictures so we can share our dorkitude with the rest of the class.
Things I've learned from this process - sewing stripes onto pants is about as much fun as it sounds. Hats hate me. I'm more likely to glue my fingers together than anything else. Don't sit down to try out the character poses while there are still pins in the trousers.
I'm so looking forward to this weekend, stupid outfit and all. I have to wear the cat ears at least once, just to traumatize Tangeriner. Perhaps I'll wear them on the bus on Thursday, just to get in the mood of things.
