( I felt very judged by some of the noters, and discredited for how the MOTHER of a special needs child (that she absolutely adores and loves to death) needed to vent about being hurt. I didn't need lectures. I just needed someone to listen. That was all that I ever ask in this diary. You don't have to agree with me, but don't discredit my feelings. When it comes to my children, key words can really hurt. Those key words are anything that puts my child at the same level as those that were institutionalized, many years ago because the human race was too damn ignorant to deal with them.
I am not ignorant. I feel guilt for the inflictions that my child have, and come here to try and deal with those feelings. I am sure that many have made comments pertaining to this. I have seen them in notes--I have heard them through emails. You can judge me all you want, but you don't have to enforce the guilt that I already have. I could throw the towel in and just lay in bed, giving those children up to agencies that would deal with their needs themselves. I don't do that. I wake every morning and keep a damn strict routine to ensure that, some day my children WILL be on their own and fully functioning adults. )

please put your long entries in LJ-cut format. Do this by typing in side-triangle brackets ('shift'key and comma and period):

lj-cut text="whatever you want people to see on the main page which will disappear when they click on it"

then proceed with the rest of your entry. Do this because a lot of people use the 'friends list' option to check up on their friends' entries and if your post is long, it will take up the whole page and they will have to scroll page-to-page to see their other friends' entries. By using lj-cut you enable people to scan their friends' list, then read what you have posted at any time without clogging up the page.
