Taipei...
Went to a movie theater and saw a flick. Out of the 19 Screens I think 12+ were playing American films. House Bunny is playing in theaters here, although I think it's a minor hit in the US too.
Gotta give the Taiwanese some major props. Didn't seem like anyone but my Dad was prepared to leave the theater until AFTER the credits. As someone with some WAY below the line credits, it's nice to see a crowd of people stay around through the credits to where your name would appear. My Dad thought it was stupid...he doesn't get it though. He didn't get the Movie either we say 20th Century Boys which is a Japanese film. I thought it was interesting, he didn't care for it though. It wasn't great. Had some issues with the narrative structure, but I enjoyed it.
