[Akane Kasai was sweeping the front lobby of the main building of the large Pokemon breeding center her parents ran.  The main building was fairly large itself, the lobby consisted of an open room with bookshelves, a desk, and large ceiling-to-floor windows that looked out to one of the fields where some of the Pokemon they kept roamed.

There were several floors to the main building with plenty of rooms for weary travelers.  They lived out in the country so that they could have plenty of space for their farm.  Because they weren't near any other towns, the ranch also doubled as a Pokemon Center.  This was good for everyone, weary trainers and their Pokemon could rest, and sometimes they bought supplies or Pokemon from the center.

Akane hadn't gone out on a Pokemon adventure yet, her parents needed her to help out at the ranch, but said that once they were able to find more help that they trusted, and when they felt she was ready, she could go.  This was okay to Akane, she was looking forward to exploring the world, however, here at the ranch, she got to play and take care of all the Pokemon and eggs and meet trainers that passed through.

All in all, it was a good life here.]
