Yuui was surprised at the sight of Chii, abandoning what he was doing to catch her. Without thinking, he started calling out for help. She looked horrible and as much as he wanted to know what happened, he was afraid. Who could have done this to the poor girl? And for what reason

She groaned softly when she was lifted, feeling the change in altitude and getting dizzier. Chi felt safe now though, and took her time opening her glazed eyes. His voice and his kiss though convinced her to wake up fully, and she smiled the best that she could. Chi had bee doing it through the pain for so long though now, that it was easy. Despite her weakness, and despite the dangerous glassy look she was getting in her eyes. But she was safe again, she really couldn't help but smile. "Yuui..." The relief still filled her, still kept her strong when her body was starting to fail her.

Smiling weakly, he took her hand in his gently. He tried to remember where he had left the first aid kit. It had been awhile since they had last needed it and he didn't know when they would be able to get the doctor. "I'm here. Don't worry." He said softly through tears, "The doctor is coming and he'll fix you right up. And then I'll make you favorite meal, okay?"
