What: Long work day is long. Gino needs excitement and happy fun tiems.
Where: The Seagull - a popular little beachside restaurant in Despina.
When: Early afternoon.

The customer at Table Five had happened to be a regular, and made a joking comment that Gino must have not been at the top of his game today if he'd forgotten that. Gino replied in jest that she was most likely right, took her order, and loped off to the kitchen. On his way there, he was flagged down by another person who wanted napkins, and then another who needed a refill on her soda. Well, why weren't the other two waitresses on duty taking care of this? "Okay, sure!" he replied cheerfully, "No problem!" And into the kitchen he sailed ( ... )

The witch tilted her head, blinking before glancing warily at the pizza. She eyed him with cool golden eyes, taking in his smile, and thinking that he was probably a very outgoing boy. Blinking at his response, she said nothing, only eyeing the pizza once more and calculating about how many inches it was and if the ingredients were fresh enough.

She blinked again, tilting her head before saying with a calm voice," Hmm. I might like to sit down. Please take me to a table. " She stood up and walked a few feet in front of him, turning and flashing one small, little smile.

"Great!" Gino replied with bursting enthusiasm, grinning back at the golden-eyed girl when she smiled at him. He loved when people smiled at him. Well, really, he liked it when people smiled in general. It meant they were happy (or at the very least, pretending to be, which was sometimes as good as it could get), and that was the best you could be, right? Happy? Of course! He moved onward past C.C. into the dining area, darted a glance around, then decided on Table Seven. It was one of his favorite tables in the restaurant; a booth nestled in a corner beside a window with a great few of the ocean and part of the boardwalk. "Here we are ( ... )

Home was supposed to be a haven. A place of relaxation and safety. Suzaku had only known a true home once in his life, and he surely didn’t have it here. Here, home was a boiling pit of anger and betrayal where Suzaku’s presence meant immersing himself in an enemy that wanted him dead, or at the very least permanently incapacitated. It was nerve racking, this idea that he had to watch his own back 24/7 if he wanted to continue his assignment. He needed out, and not just to save his crumbling mental state. They needed a source of income if they were to stay in this world, and not in this world’s prisons ( ... )
