Welcome to Charon
Best be on your toes should you be unfortunate enough to land in the world of Charon. Its environment is a complete swampland, swarming with creatures both big and small, each posing a threat of it’s own while providing game for the local hunters that sparsely populate the murky lands. Don’t expect any modern conveniences or luxuries to greet you should you happen to safely acquire shelter within the rickety shacks built along the banks of the treacherous swamp. While equipped with water pumps and tolerable bedding, warmth is only generated through the fires you build and food is obtained from whatever you manage to kill. The frogs, which come in all seven colors of the rainbow, seem to be the most prominent critters around and while they seem harmless enough, it’s best to stay away from the brightly colored ones, as they secrete a deadly poison. At least the fish seem okay to eat. The inhabitants are friendly enough but don’t expect them to help you should you be caught in the swamp past sun down.
