Haha yes, it's half completed, but it's okay, I have 2 more weeks to do it. :P
Since it's level 2000 lab, we get to pick 6 experiments out of 14-ish choices with our partners, and schedule is kinda free-and-easy (we can come in any day of the week, from 8.30-5pm). We have experiments ranging from Rutherford Scattering to Diffraction of Light, to UV-absorption to Diode Electronics (the only compulsory one).
Sorry for the late reply, been buried in huge piles of assignments. (Yeuch)
Haha, 10-pages is too short I think, since we have to stuff in lots of crap. The experiments were fine in the end, but they require lots of problem solving at first. *sigh*
Haha, I've justed completed the lot of them,so YAY!
Basically, the lab manuals tend to be very very incoherent and ambiguous, especially when it involves machines we haven't seen before. So we have to poke around till the results look sensible. :P
Haha, but I dumped my revision, so now I haveto slog to catch up.
..Trust me, you *don't want* to come across one like that. It leads to permanent head damage,on account of bashing your head repeatedly against a wall. LOL

Still, it's pretty boring. Labs just are. *sigh*

But your labs sound interesting! =P

And, they *were* interesting. Until you tried to actually do them. XDDD

o-o Why do you have to do problem solving for your experiments? =o

=O oh no, are the lab manuals from other departments like that too? =p

Uh... no, I think it's a peculiarity of Physics :P
