The First 72 Are Up To You!

South Tampa seems to be taking the governor's words to heart. There are lines at the ATM, lines at the gas station, and ten times the usual Sunday morning shoppers at the grocery store. To Publix's credit there also seemed to be five times the usual number of stock clerks and cashiers, so the shelves still held the essentials, and the wait to checkout wasn't more than 3 people deep.

WalMart on the other hand looked like a bomb had gone off inside. There was no water, no bread, no rain gear, no toilet paper, and no cashiers--2 lonely self checkout stations your only option if you wanted to purchase anything you might have be able to scavenge from the rubble. And I realize that a water pistol is an unusual request for 6:45am Sunday morning but you would think that SOMEONE would have been able to answer my question. Sheesh!
